Here is a little tidbit from the SMH this morning on Jodi's post wedding life. Basically just a report on all the pics she's posted on instagram lately. Instagram. The lazy journalists bread and butter.


EGGED ON

Mrs Anasta is living the dream.

Spotted collecting her framed wedding photos from Blumenthal Photography in Rose Bay last week, from the day she describes as ''my favourite moment in life'', Jodi Gordon has come a long way in recent years.

The actress, who can rock a pair of leather shorts in a way most of us can't, has spent Christmas cocooning in her Clovelly love nest as a ''proud wife'' with Wests Tigers (formerly Rooster) husband Braith and their festively dressed huskie. Her Santa season has been spent, if you look at her Instagram posts, baking reindeer men, enjoying girlfriends and relaxing with her mother-in-law.

The couple, who have made no secret of their desire to fill the house with kids, have also had a good omen for their future family.

Gordon Instagramed a picture of a double-yolked egg, saying, ''My good luck charm into 2013''.

Friends noted it might be a sign of an upcoming twin pregnancy; and family responded, ''Twins in the future perhaps!'' and ''A good luck sign if ever I saw one''.

Stay tuned for baby news. This is one prediction for 2013 S is sure will become a reality.

Badness

And now that we have the rambling wedding post out of the way we can move onto a new topic. Underbelly Badness. Jodi's role was small... really small. Not worth talking about anymore, but we don't care as it meant seeing her pretty face on TV again.

Hair and make up had a very very easy job.

WEDDING!!!

Well I'm back, having just got my computer back from the grave and I cannot believe how much I've missed. Our favourite Summer Bay graduate appeared in Underbelly Badness looking absolutly smoking, but more on that later. The biggest event of 2012 was not the royal jubilee or the presidential election. No. It was Braith and Jodis wedding of course.

Mrs Anasta sizzled in her J'Aton designed dress but Jodi being Jodi caused just a bit of controversy by wearing a dress that was too similar to previous brides Terri Biviano and Rebecca Twigley (both also dressed by J'Aton. If I was a truely dedicated blogger I would get pictures of all three and compare but as we know I cant be arsed. Lets just say that while our Jodes was stunning in her dress, it is time for J'Aton to take a breather and come up with a few new designes. Anyway, the reason we're all here. Wedding pics

Yes Braith got married in a blue suit. Its so Adam Sandler wedding singer but Braith is so pretty we'll let it slide. No one was looking at him anyway. It's all about Jodi.

Some nutter in the media claimed the dress cost $50 000 but we know thats a bit of wild speculation there, since J'Aton have never done a dress over $30 000.

Just Because

And because I want to, here's a few shots from her 2Chillies campaign. I like to look at them and thing about how I will never ever look as good as her no matter what I try. It really cheers me up.

Jodi Lately

I cannot believe how neglectfull I've been towards this blog lately, I wish I had an excuse other than im just lazy, but I don't. I COULD lie and say i've been on holidays... in fact I might just do that. I'm sorry I've been so neglectfull towards this blog lately, Ive been away on holidays. Lets have a look at whats been happening in Jodi land since I've been away. Nothing too much. Just two major announcements that Jodi is the new face of Charlie Browns Spring Summer 2012 collection and 2Chillies swimwear. About time that girl got some proper modeling gigs and stoped wasting her looks by not shoving her face onto the cover of every magazine and newspaper she can get on.

And Because I Told You I Was Slow...

Here is a pic of Jodi hosting the Luxurious fundraiser over two weeks ago (in my defence I could have left it a month before posting).

More than $60 000 worth of high-end clothes were donated then auctioned off to raise money for the Royal Womans hospital. Jodi was the ambassador and turned up looking fabulous. Im going to have to say something about those shoes soon though...

MBFWA Continued

Jodi's second appearance on the Mercedes Benz Fashion week brought us this outfit at the Ellery show

It's an Ellery skirt and top and while I love them both, together they are a little much. The skirt is so intricate it would have looked stunning with a plainer top. But still a good choice from out home girl. Her next show was Lisa Ho and the dress she wore to that was her best decision that week. Unfortunately it's the only outfit I can't steal a full shot of so you'll have to make do with a headshot and imagine the rest.

Oh how I wish I could offer you more. Feel free to admire the fuscia lippy though. And so that was Jodi's fashion week. Here's hoping she previewd lots of cute, quirky, knock out outfits for us at JGO to pull apart at later dates. And we will Jodi... we will.

MBFWA

Jodi was a regular at the Mercedes Benz Fashion week last week and even though it was a week ago today, I will now give you a wrap up because thats the sort of slow person that I am. Her first show was the Zimmerman show on Tuesday and already Jodi made her first blunder by turning up in the same dress as some actress called Gigi.

Personally I dont know how one of them liked the dress enough to wear it, let alone two. The colour looks like the water I did my dishes in this morning and the neckline makes them look like chinese olympic swimmers (you know the ones, are they ladies? Are they boys? Are they ladyboys?). If I was doing a who wore it best i'd have to give it to Gigi because even though she's posing like a Wonder Woman in drag, she's not wearing bin liners on her feet. Sorry, Jodes. So it was a bad start to the week for our girl but she managed to redeem herself later that day when she changed into a gorrrrgeous peplum top and leather pants for the Tony Matechevski show.

Possibly her best choice for the day, the colour and length is perfect, She's not too tanned and she looks just a little bit curvy. So day one for Jodi began in disaster but ended in triumph and while she went home to her sexy Greek god we all waited with baited breath to see what tomorrow would bring.

Exciting News

Our favourite ex model turned ex soapie star turned actually decent actress has a new role! She will be starring in the new Underbelly! She is an actress and she is an Australian so really it was only a matter of time. Apparently Nine has been wanting to sign her for a while. Haven't we all. The media headlines are declaring 'Jodi Gordon is Turning Bad' but really she will just be playing a reporter... who are as bad as they come when I think about it. My bad. I look foward to a weekly drool fest.

Those Poor Muppets

It was a stressful week for our Jodi, with future hubby announcing he's jumping ship to the Wests Tigers in 2013 because the Sydney Roosters are run by soul less grubbers who punt their own captain. The strain clearly showed on Jodi because she turned up to the Marquee opening wearing a muppet. Im prepared to write this disaster off as temporary insanity due to stress, whether the Royal Society for the protection of Muppets will be so forgiving, I'm not sure.

Very fury, still, she looked alot better than the washed up has been American 'celebrities' the Star for some reason paid to turn up. She made a better effort on Saturday when she attended a BT4BC event with Braith (in a pink suit) and his mum.

Still not the most inspiring outfit but our Jodes isn't perfect people.

Hope is in the air

There must be something in the water thats effecting only Jodis house, either that or shes changed stylists, either way, she has been looking stunning lately, stepping out in outfits that DONT make me ask if she's having a laugh at us. She and Hubby to be were out in Sydney last week promoting the Supper Club for Camp Quality. Here is the most perfect dress you've ever seen Jodi in, by Mulberry.

I chose a picture with Braith in it just because I can. A couple weeks earlier she attended the Moet Oscars Lunch in another great dress by Ellery.

I don't know what you're doing Jodi, but keep doing it.

The Return of the Legs.

David Jones premiered their Autum/Winter Collection on Wednesday night and Jodi attended, along with Hunky Braith. More importantly, her legs attended, and looked perfect in a gorgeous Willow playsuit.

I dont know what I love more, her outfit, her shoes or her man. 5 stars for you Jodi.

Audible Gasp! They Both Wore White!

Jodi's fashion is creating headlines again. This time the Daily Telegraph is stunned that she and Rachel Taylor wore the same colour to the Any Questions For Ben premiere. Apparently there were 'audible gasps' from the audience because they both wore white dresses. Audible gasps I tell you. Here are the outfits that created such a scandal.

Maybe they were gasping because Jodi covered up those gorgeous legs, which was the only real fashion crime committed.

Jodi attended the Sydney Premiere of her latest movie Any Questions for Ben last night in this modest little number. I hate the midi skirt trend happening right now but whatever. Nice belt though. She would have looked better with her best acessory, beautiful Braith, but he was too busy sneaking in through the back to avoid the red carpet. Wtf Braith?
